KIRSTEN COTTONE

(MAPP, Dean's Honours List Award)

Kirsten Cottone is a passionate and innovative facilitator, who helps individuals and organisations make positive change.

Having performed on stages such as NIDA and The Royal Albert Hall in London, Kirsten provides a unique perspective on how we can all benefit from accessing our creativity and self-expression. She has combined this with  evidence-based research in wellbeing, creativity and performance to develop her signature system, the Optimum Mindset™.

In 2019, Kirsten received the Dean's Honours List Award from the University of Melbourne, for achieving the highest overall grade in her Master of Applied Positive Psychology (First Class Honours). She also brings a wealth of additional knowledge, with formal qualifications in education, music, drama, coaching and neuroscience.

Whether you are an individual or an organisation, an invigorating session with Kirsten will help break through blocks and develop new neural pathways, ultimately forming new ways of being.

THE OPTIMUM MINDSET PHILOSOPHY

Imagine you've been working hard performing in the world, but your psychological wellbeing is in the toilet and your creativity has all dried up. Would this make you happy? The truth is if we're not in balance, something usually breaks...... which may be why you're here.

Yet many mental health approaches separate out the human experience, denying us our complexity. The Optimum  Mindset™ has been developed in response to this. It is a complete system that builds and balances your wellbeing, creativity and performance, so that by the end of our time together, you will  back in sync with yourself and the world.

THE OPTIMUM MINDSET EDGE

EVIDENCE-BASED

My signature system is founded on the latest research in Positive Psychology (the science of wellbeing), Neuroscience (the science of the brain) and creative coaching.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED

I have a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from The University of Melbourne, graduating with First Class Honours and as Valedictorian of the cohort. When you engage me, you will always be getting the highest standard of excellence!

20 YEARS EXPERIENCE

I come with 20 years experience facilitating change. With a background in stage performance, education and professional development, I have a reservoir of tried-and-tested tools to help you move forward.

BODY/MIND/HEART

No part of us exists in isolation. I take a holistic approach to positive change, making your results faster and more sustainable than most other techniques.

CREATIVE PROCESSES

The research is clear. We need creativity to live a vibrant, happy life (this goes for organisations too). The research also shows that we learn best when having FUN! The  Optimum Mindset™ takes all of this and helps you access your own creative brain-zones. It's fun, completely non-threatening and will help you (or your organisation) come to life.

PRACTICAL OUTCOMES

Theory and knowledge only work if they are translated through practical wisdom. Together, we will identify your specific requirements and achieve your desired goals.
